The colour of the sea in Kalkan Bay changed quite dramatically, with the rainwater run off - see our photo below. Other places in Turkey, on the Aegean and south west Mediterranean coasts, have had a tough time though. The weather today (Thursday) is supposed to be sunny, but more rain is on the way over the coming days. Below: Kalkan Bay after the rain storm, with discoloured water from the rainwater run off.

The weather in Kalkan on Tuesday night and Wednesday failed to live up to the dire forecast.
