Whilst most of the books in there are Turkish (naturally), you will find a few shelves dedicated to English language books. With winter fast approaching, it's a good time to think about curling up somewhere warm with a good book. So why not make use of this free facility. We should also point out that if you have books you have read, and they are in good condition, you may like to consider donating them to the library. This way they can be enjoyed by many more people. Anyone can use this facility. All you need is some identification - we suggest your passport. Books can be borrowed for 15 days. The Kalkan municipality library opening hours are as follows: Sunday & Monday: closed Tuesday to Saturday: 8.00am to 12 noon, and 1pm to 5pm. The entrance is from the main road - Şehitler Caddesi, close to where the Thursday market ends. It is round the corner from the main Belediye entrance. Share |

Shh! Keep it quiet, but there is a library under the Belediye offices in town.
