Kalkan Beach ClubOn Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, Kalkan felt the force of a storm that had been forecast by meteorologists.

It appeared to us at the time that this was nowhere near as severe as storms that have hit Kalkan in the past, but as the photos below show, not everywhere escaped unscathed.

At Kalkan Beach club, at the far end of Kışla, the concrete sunbathing area next to the sea was washed away by powerful waves.
