I like the recipes, the exchange rates, information about local people, events and anything to do with travelling to Turkey is important. And of course, the webcams.

Kalkan 2009Now that the main 2009 season is over, we are in reflective mood.  How was the season for you?

Here at Kalkan Turkish Local News, we don't have a forum for you to express yourselves, but there is a way you can reflect your experiences in and around Kalkan this year.

KTLN members can use our star rating system to show what they thought of the service they got from local businesses.

Take a look at our Business Directory and find the businesses you used in Kalkan this year.  If you have had great service from a shop, restaurant, or any other business, why not give it a good star rating to let others know.  One star is not so good and five stars is excellent.

There are more than 1,500 KTLN members now, so the more of you that vote, the more useful the star ratings become.  Systems are in place to stop multiple voting.

Whilst browsing through our Business Directory, if you notice an error or omission, please feel free to let us know, and we will do our best to correct it.

Finally, whilst on the subject of getting your feedback, we wanted to mention one other thing.  Before the year end, we will be inviting KTLN members to take part in a special survey, so that the Belediye, and Kalkan lovers in general can get a better understanding of the people who come to this wonderful town.

We hope you will all participate.  Individuals will not be identifiable in the published findings - we will simply publish summary statistics.

And just to reassure you, the survey has got no commercial objective whatsoever - nobody will be contacting you to sell you anything!  More on the KTLN survey soon.
