KTLN is the first thing I Google when I open my computer in the morning. It is the best way to catch up with what is happening in Kalkan. How did I manage before it existed?

YalıhanThis is of course the construction season in Kalkan, and you don't have to look far to see signs of new buildings going up.

But yesterday saw one small piece of demolition take place.  The archway at the entrance of the Yalıhan complex was unceremoniously pulled down.

The owner of the complex, Tekin Serter, was on hand to witness the demise of the archway.

He has decided to open up the entrance to the Yalıhan, so that you can see more of what is in the courtyard.

He has also had a number of pillars removed around the courtyard - we are assured that none of them are structurally important.
