LOVE the website, so much information and I always recommend it to our guests, particularly the map, which is very comprehensive.

There were 15 volunteers on the streets trying to round up suitable candidates, and a total of 6 bitches and 5 dogs were successfully neutered. KAPSA also managed to find homes for two puppies as well. Many dogs are scared of humans, and so it was not as easy as you might imagine. Some that were captured did not want to come along quietly, but despite a few minor struggles, there were no injuries - human or canine. The neutering programme continues in and around Kalkan. KAPSA would like to hear from you if you would like to help identify and/or round up street dogs and cats for neutering. If you can assist in any way, you can contact them via their website www.kapsa.co.uk Below: Sedated animals in the operating theatre.

KAPSA scoured the streets of Akbel yesterday, looking for dogs and bitches that have not yet been neutered.
