ShareTurkcell Super LeagueWith 17 matches played, we are half way through the Turkish Super League season - the equivalent of the UK's Premiership.  Things are pretty close, with the top positions changing over the weekend.

On Saturday, Galatasaray, last season's champions, claimed first place, following a 1-0 win over Gençlerbirligi.  Galatasaray fans in Kalkan made a lot of noise on Saturday night, however their joy was short lived.  On Sunday evening, Fenerbahçe beat Trabzonspor 1-0 to retake the top spot.

Fenerbahçe are first with 37 points, Galatasaray second with 36 points, and Bursaspor third with 35 points.
