Hermanus, South AfricaThis year, the football World Cup takes place in South Africa between 11th June and 11th July.

No doubt there will be lots of places in Kalkan showing live matches on TV.  

However, if you are thinking of going to South Africa, you may like to know that a Kalkan lover from a place called Hermanus, 100km from Cape Town, is able to arrange accommodation.


They can host any numbers, from 2 to 50, in a choice of comfortable houses.  

Hermanus is renouned as an excellent whale watching location, and is also in prime vineyard country, with excellent wines.
