The village of Bezirgan, just a 15 minute drive from Kalkan, has featured recently in an article in the (UK) Times newspaper.  It is also available online.

The article is titled 'Secret Turkey: six hidden holiday spots'.

One of the six places is Bezirgan, which it says offers a real sense of escape.

There is a reference to Kalkan too, and its 'bright lights and busy streets'.  The author falls into the usual trap of saying that Kalkan used to be 'a pretty fishing village', when people who have lived here all their lives will tell you that fishing has never been an trade that defines Kalkan.

Still, we wouldn't argue that Bezirgan is a charming place to go, to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The other places mentioned in the article sound good too.  We can certainly recommend Akyaka.
