ShareWomen's DayMonday 8th March 2010, is International Women's Day.  All over the world, ladies will be celebrating.

In Kalkan, at 3pm, a number of ladies intend to walk from the Belediye to the statue of Atatürk, where they will place flowers.  Afterwards, they will go to the harbour for refreshments.

On Monday evening, at around 7pm, a ladies only meal is to be held at Marina Restaurant.  The meal costs 35TL per person.

If you wish to join in, please feel free to take part.  Non-Turkish women would be very welcome.  We understand that the Mayor of Kalkan, Saim Karakurt, will make a brief appearance.

If you wish to go to the evening meal, they need to know numbers by Sunday evening.  You can drop us a line (using the Contact Us tab, at the top of this page), and we will pass on your details.
