Kalkan tornado 12th March 2008If you were in Kalkan on 12th March 2008, the chances are you will remember that day.

This was the day that a powerful tornado came to town. 

We do get them from time to time, but this was one of the most spectacular water spouts in recent years.

Here are a few photos showing the path of the incoming tornado.
