Tomorrow is the first anniversary of Kalkan Turkish Local News.

We hope you have enjoyed it so far.

Here is a brief summary of some key points from our first year.

Plus, we have a free anniversary gift for KTLN members!

• members and guests have looked at more than 6.5 million web pages (this includes webcam images)
• we had over 225,000 visits
• viewed in over 100 countries, (UK 71%, Turkey 22%, Germany 2%, rest of the world 5%)
• we now get around 800 visits a day
• we served, and you downloaded 1,500,000,000 kilobytes of data
• we now have well over 1,800 registered members
• we published more than 460 local news items
• we set up 3 (soon to be 4) live webcams in Kalkan
• we brought you 53 Day in the Life profiles, of Kalkan people
• thanks to you, we raised over £5,000 for The KTLN Trust
• working with Kalkan businesses, we introduced live, Kalkan town, foreign currency exchange rates - the rate on the street

And throughout, we like to think we have remained true to our core values, as described in the KTLN Brand.
