Dredging the harbourIt's a slow news day, so you could say we are plumbing new depths with this story, but a rather unusual vessel called into Kalkan harbour this week. 

The Çamur V has been working on dredging the harbour.  (Çamur in Turkish, means mud).

When originally built, the harbour was 9 metres deep, but over the years lots of soil and debris has washed into the harbour, significantly reducing the depth.

Below, you can see the dredging machine digging out the mud, and placing it in the Çamur V.
