Cycle race  2010Slightly later than expected, at just after 3pm, on Friday 16th April, the 46th Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkey made a fleeting visit to Kalkan.

Hundreds of people turned out, including local schoolchildren, on a warm and sunny day, to cheer them on, as they sped by.

The Mayor and other leading Kalkan businessmen were there, but none of the cyclists stopped for tea and a chat.
