Got a question for the Mayor of Kalkan? - tell KTLN PDF Print E-mail

Kaymakam of KaşAs mentioned in our recent article about the Kaymakam's meeting with foreign residents in Kaş, it is intended to hold a similar meeting in Kalkan.

It is our understanding that the wheels are in motion to arrange such an event.  When we have firm details, we will bring them to you.

In the meantime, we thought it might be useful to ask you, the KTLN readers, what you would like to say, if you were able to address the Kalkan Mayor and/or the Kaymakam, or put a question to them.

What KTLN would like to do, is identify common themes - the things that are on most people's minds, so that we can try to get these on the agenda, and discussed.

We hope to be able to communicate the top issues to the Mayor and Kaymakam, before the day of the meeting, as we believe this will be helpful.

So if you won't be in Kalkan soon, and able to put a question directly yourself, or even if you will be, but you would like to tell us anyway, why not get in touch, using the Contact Us tab at the top of this page.

Please be as brief as you can.  What are the things you would like to mention to the Mayor?  And if you raise an issue, please let us know if you have any suggestions as to how the issue may be overcome.

And it is perhaps worth making the point, that this should not simply be seen as an opportunity to have a moan.  If you have any really positive messages that you would like to convey, do feel free to get in touch.

As we mentioned in our earlier report, we feel that this offer to engage with foreign residents in dialogue, is one that should be embraced in a positive way.

Let's make the most of this opportunity.
