Three Turkish occupants of the other car were killed at the scene. The driver of the transfer car, Hüseyin Çelik (29), and the two passengers, Stephen Funnell (63), and Hilary Funnell (60), were injured and taken to hospital. Sadly, Stephen Funnell died from his injuries, on Monday night. Hilary Funnell's condition is not described as critical, although we understand she will require further hospital treatment. The driver has left hospital. We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the families of the bereaved, and we wish the injured a speedy recovery. Updated Tuesday 8th June: A Kalkan airport transfer car was involved in a serious road traffic incident on the afternoon of Monday 7th June, whilst on an airport run.
