Flight & Travel InformationFlight & Travel Information is the single most popular web page at Kalkan Turkish Local News.

And it just got better, because we have now added a great Skyscanner flight search tool, making it even quicker and easier to check out flights to and from Dalaman.

The page still has links to other online flight search websites, if you want to use them.  The new Skyscanner search tool is on the right side of the page.

Skyscanner is one of the better search websites we have used, which is why we thought we would add this tool to KTLN.

The search tool defaults to search for flights to Dalaman from the UK, but you can of course change these variables.  Here is what our new page looks like.

Flight & Travel Information

The Flight & Travel Information page is one of the special features we have for registered members.  To become a member, click here to register.  It's quick, easy and completely free.  To read about the benefits of KTLN membership, click here.

We have also discovered some really interesting snippets of information on the Skyscanner website, some of which we share with you below.

Most popular destinations for 2010
This Skyscanner article reports on the top 50 popular destinations for UK travellers for 2010.  Dalaman remains the 6th most popular destination, based upon Skyscanner searches in the month of May 2010.  Click on the heading above.

Holiday price comparisons
A Skyscanner survey also looks at the comparative costs of holidays in different countries.  There are some interesting findings in here, including analysis of Turkey versus Greece prices.  Click on the heading above.
