The Ministry will pay the difference between the actual electricity bill and the cheapest tariff applicable in the city. Antalya Hotels Association chairman Suriri Çorabatır, said this was the situation until two years ago, when it was cancelled. Upon their request, it's happening again. This will be welcome news for tourist businesses in Kalkan. Businesses have to apply to take advantage of this new scheme. Share |

The Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism has agreed to subsidise electricity costs for those businesses certified by the Ministry (such as hotels and restaurants who have tourism investment or tourism operation certificates).
