I joined KTLN for the local news. It's great to keep in touch with what is happening throughout the year in Kalkan, especialy when it is cold and wet in England, gives me something to look forward to.

For a number of logistical reasons, the planned visit for later this year has had to be called off. The band are disappointed they can't make it, but they hope to be able to return to Kalkan in 2011. Swing Supreme have seen great support for their performances in a number of restaurants/cafes over recent years. Let's hope that organiser Robert Ferguson can get them back to Kalkan next year. With some sadness, we have to report that the very popular Swing Supreme jazz band will not be visiting Kalkan this year.
