The 2010 Perseid meteor shower peaks tonight, so you should be able to make lots of wishes!

Shooting stars in the Kalkan skies are truly spectacular, and none more so than the Perseids.

You may be familiar with the words of Herodotus, the 5th century Greek historian, who came to Kalkan.  He is reported to have said that Kalkan was the nearest place on earth to the stars.  So you really couldn't be in a better place.
