A day in the life is great to get to know our Kalkan neighbours and there is so much more. Mainly for me it's the Ten Seond Turkish - you've made it easy for us, so THANK YOU.

As you approach the traffic lights on the D400, coming from Fethiye, you will see the sign proclaiming this, on the right hand side of the road. Next week, the Mayor of Cupramontana and a number of VIPs will visit Kalkan, and in October there will be a reciprocal visit by the Mayor of Kalkan to Cupramontana.
It is hoped that the two towns can help and support each other in the areas of tourism, culture, art, sport, education and technology. KTLN visited Cupramontana on its drive from Turkey to the UK, earlier this year. You can read about our visit, including some photos, by clicking here. Share |

Kalkan has now formally twinned with the Italian town of Cupramontana.
The Italian Ambassador to Turkey, Carlo Masili, has been instrumental in securing this agreement.
